Movies Influences On Children Behaviour

When I read the book of Milestones In Mass Communication Research; Media Effect about the study of how movies effect on children attitude I was totally agree. Specially today with the age of technology children behavior has changed. Children spent more time watching TV than any other activity. They are learning a lot of information throughout movies it may or may not be appropriate. For example, themes like violence; sexuality, race and gender, stereotypes, drug and alcohol or any other themes of movies can affect the child behavior. If a child watches a violent movie, they will think that violence is normal because children cannot tell the different between acting and reality. But what was interesting me about Bulmer study of movies long-term influences on children is that movies effect on shaping the images, which people form of their world. For example, movies provided models that shaped children attitude, children captured what they see in the movies and try to emulate the characters. Like if that model were a hero who fights for a crime, the child would think fighting is good. Clothing could be another example that movies are wrongly influencing your child. Most aggressive children are fans of actions movies. Action movies are a big reason that driven children to violence these days. If parents catch their children acting aggressively, they need to educate them that those actors are paid for that and all what they do are not real. It is important that you teach them the different between real life situations with what has been shown on movies so that they can understand the difference. These are some of great tips for parents to make sure that your child is not influenced by movies. It is always matter to educate Children.

The Elements Of Journalism : Truth: The First and Most Confusing Principle

Journalism first obligation is to the truth, delivering facts news to the audience and more important is to report the truth about those facts. Like Kovach said people looking forward to know facts and the whole picture of the stories with truth, not part of it. This is an actually what journalists do, is saying the truth. They are getting the closest version truth of the story and collecting all information that makes sense of them and then delivered it to the public. But what I am thinking of it is, what if that information’s does not make any sense to the public? . That was exactly what was going on in the Middle East; the lack of trusting what was saying on news has been a big issue. An example of that is the Egyptian revolution; Egyptian’s are relying to know what really happens out there on the street from social media rather than getting it from news. Protestors are posting an updating the details of street actions through social media while the journalists were conservatives to not provide more truth of those actions facts because they were aware of letting more turbulence getting between the protestors. But protestors won’t care, they just want the truth, and it is necessary to report the truth about the fact because that what they needs. To consider, with the revolution of social media, what the future of journalists on the Middle East will be? And, How they can get back the trust of people?
